Walkable (within 10 minutes)

Hadlow is a village and the options for walkable pubs and restaurants are limited. The Rose Revived is great for locally brewed beer and pub food. The Two Brewers is also a short walkaway. Both serve hot meals into the evening. Weathered & Worn is a beautiful day time cafe that serves sanwiches and cakes. The Bell in Golden Green is walkable along a countryside footpath and has a very quaint feel.

A Short Drive Away (within 10 minutes drive)

The town of Tonbridge offers a vast choice of bars and restaurants, including popular chains such as Pizza Express. Havet is a Turkish restaurant which is particularly popular. Booking in advance is essential at weekends.

Slightly Further Away (within 15 minutes drive)

There are so many quaint villages in and around Kent that they cannot all be mentioned here. We would advise using a guide book to cover your specific requirements. If you are looking for a typical English pub, with an open fire, we would recommend The Bush, Blackbird & Thrush in East Peckham or the Kentish Rifleman in Dunk's Green, Tonbridge. The Swan at West Peckham is in a great location (on the village green, next to a church) and the menu is excellent
